PriceSlicer terms of service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Nine Factorial LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the PriceSlicer mobile application and related services (the “App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

License and app store terms

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple- or Google-branded devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

For apps downloaded from the Apple App Store, your license is further governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms and the Standard EULA conflict for App Store installs, the Standard EULA controls to the extent required by Apple. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the App or its content.

Subscriptions, pricing, and auto-renewal

PriceSlicer offers a limited number of free optimizer trips. Continued unlimited use is available through PriceSlicer Pro, an auto-renewing subscription offered at $9.99 per month or $99.00 per year (U.S. pricing; local prices and currency are shown at purchase and may vary by region and over time).

  • Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • The subscription automatically renews for the same period at the then-current price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renewal, in your App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their applicable store policies; we do not separately process payments and cannot issue store refunds directly.

Prices are estimates, not offers

PriceSlicer displays grocery prices that are sourced from third-party retailer websites and, where you provide them, scanned receipts. These prices are gathered on a best-effort basis and are provided for informational purposes only.

Prices, availability, promotions, and product details change frequently and may differ by store and location. The price shown in the App may be out of date, incomplete, or inaccurate, and the actual price you pay at a store may be higher or lower. Prices shown in the App are not offers to sell and do not create any obligation on the part of us or any retailer.

You are responsible for confirming current prices and availability with the retailer before making a purchase. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any retailer whose prices are displayed, and retailer names and marks belong to their respective owners.

Acceptable use

  • Use the App only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute the App’s pricing data, or attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or circumvent the App’s security or access controls.
  • Do not misuse the App in a way that could harm us, other users, or any third party.

Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Our handling of your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of pricing data, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any price shown is current or correct.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nine Factorial LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on prices or other information shown in the App. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Changes and termination

We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where a mandatory consumer-protection law of your place of residence provides otherwise.
